Settings that keep you busy
TapipaT looks like a settings screen. It is not. Rows arrive with a fuse burning under them, and you have to clear the top one before it runs out.
Flip a switch, tick a checkmark, swipe a row away, count a stepper up. The controls are the familiar ones. The timer is not. Three strikes and the run is over.
Portrait, English and German. iPhone on iOS 18.6 or later; the Android version wants Android 8.0 or later.

What TapipaT does
A simple challenge
Different controls demand your attention, a fuse works against you. Can you clear each before the time runs out? A penguin cheers your streaks.
Four difficulties
Find your flow: Leisurely gives you time to read the row. Standard is the game as it was written. Unreasonable costs a life if you blink. Mathmania drops the controls entirely and deals nothing but arithmetic.
Game Center leaderboards
On iPhone, a leaderboard for each level, shown in the app, with your friends' bests on the title screen. Switch Submit Scores off, and your bests stay on the phone.
Coming to Android
The same game, built for Android rather than wrapped: the same rules, the same look, the same two languages, Android 8.0 or later. Scores stay on the phone there, with no leaderboards and no sign-in.
Your data stays with you
TapipaT collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind.
Your settings and your high scores stay on your phone. On iPhone the one thing that can leave it is a score you choose to post to Game Center, and that goes only to Apple. Switching Submit Scores off stops even that. The Android version has no leaderboards at all, so nothing leaves that device.
